Each finish is developed around the surrounding space, then hand-worked during installation to create a floor that feels dimensional, artful and entirely its own.
OUR PROCESS
On-Site Assessment
We evaluate your concrete, measure the space and develop a metallic color palette and level of movement that complements the surrounding design.
Professional Surface Preparation
We mechanically prepare the concrete, typically through diamond grinding, and remove residual dust to create the proper surface profile for a lasting bond.
Crack + Surface Repair
Cracks, pitting and surface imperfections are repaired before coating, with moving joints treated according to the needs of the slab.
Moisture Evaluation + Primer
We evaluate moisture conditions and apply a compatible primer to promote adhesion and seal the prepared surface. A moisture-vapor barrier is added when slab conditions require it.
Pigmented Base Coat
A high-solids, pigmented epoxy base coat is applied to create a smooth, consistent foundation and provide the necessary contrast beneath the metallic finish.
Metallic Design Coat
Metallic pigments are blended into clear epoxy and hand-worked across the floor to create layered color, depth and organic movement. Because the pigments continue to shift as the material settles, every floor is naturally unique.
Protective Clear Topcoat
Once the metallic layer has cured, a UV-stable protective topcoat is applied for added resistance to abrasion, stains and everyday wear. Traction can be incorporated based on the space.
