Our Story
Garage Floor Edit is a female-founded, design-driven concrete coating company specializing in garage floors.
Our founder, Chantell Pfitzer, spent more than a decade in private estate management, helping manage the homes and daily lives of some of the wealthiest people in the country. That experience taught her how to oversee projects, manage crews, communicate clearly, and make sure every detail was handled properly.
An opportunity to oversee a garage buildout for a private client and Ferrari collector sparked an unexpected passion for garage design. That project eventually led Chantell to create The Garage Edit, our parent company specializing in the design and buildout of luxury garages and car condos across the United States.
How Garage Floor Edit Began
As The Garage Edit grew, nearly every project needed some type of new flooring. We worked with experienced coating crews, but continued running into the same problem: the design options were extremely limited. Most companies offered variations of the same familiar flake combinations, and the flooring often felt disconnected from the rest of the garage.
So, our design team started creating its own.
Using color theory, architecture, and the overall style of each space, we developed more thoughtful flake combinations for our projects. What started as a solution for The Garage Edit quickly gained attention from clients who wanted the flooring by itself.
That demand became Garage Floor Edit
We took some of the best combinations developed by our design team and turned them into a curated catalog, with a variety of options designed to work across different homes, styles, and spaces. Each collection pairs thoughtful design with a professionally installed, high-performance concrete coating system.
